Introducing IMPACT²

IMPACT² (“Impact Squared”) is THIEAUDIO’s latest bass technology, designed to transform how sub-bass is delivered in in-ear monitors. It uses two 10mm composite diaphragm dynamic drivers in an isobaric configuration, significantly boosting bass power, texture, and depth. Thanks to THIEAUDIO’s in-house isobaric chamber design, frequency and pressure remain stable, so you get richer, more authoritative bass without compromising tonal accuracy or introducing bloat.

Latest Generation Sonion Drivers

The HYPE 4 is equipped with custom-implemented latest-generation Sonion balanced armature drivers. For the treble, it uses the Sonion E50 “Hummingbird” dual ultra-tweeter, offering some of the best technical specs among Sonion’s treble drivers. Expect superb ultra-high extension rivaling EST or planar drivers, with lower vibration and harmonic distortion even at higher volumes.

For the midrange, THIEAUDIO selected the updated Sonion 26A series driver. Dual-stacked, it delivers excellent output-to-THD ratios, translating into higher perceived resolution, richer texture, and better layering in the mids and lower treble. The tuning of the 26A in HYPE 4 achieves excellent tonal balance in the core midrange and lower treble, closely matching THIEAUDIO’s target curves. Together, the 26A and E50 drivers form one of THIEAUDIO’s most efficient and refined BA implementations to date.

• A near-perfect pinna gain around 3 kHz with a gentle, controlled decay up to 20 kHz for airy yet non-fatiguing treble.

Bass and mids are cleanly separated, so sub-bass hits hard and precisely while the midrange stays neutral and uncolored—just as the mixing engineer intended.
